Local small businesses are the heart of our communities, offering unique products and services, and a place where local culture flourishes. By highlighting their businesses and stories through words & pictures, I hope I can spotlight the hidden gems of our communities.

The Importance of Local Small Businesses

Local small businesses play a significant role in our economy. They create jobs—approximately 64% of new jobs in the U.S. come from small businesses—and stimulate the local economy, directing about 67% of every dollar spent back into the community. This supports local schools, parks, and community infrastructure.

But why?

How many of you have been bored, thinking of what to do, maybe search online and come up empty handed? This will be a one stop shop, of recommendations of cool local gems for all things food, shopping, drinking, sight-seeing, kid-occuping fun ideas. Not only will we be supporting our local small buisinesses, we will be finding ways to have fun in OUR community and give back to our community. So join me in finding.... Isanti County's Gems.
